Libertarianism

Not Left, Not Right, Just Free...

Libertarianism is a very simple political ideology. Essentially, we as Libertarians believe that all people should be free to live their lives and pursue their interests as they see fit, as long as they do not do any harm to other individuals in the process. This fundamental notion of individual liberty is the focal point of Libertarian ideology.

This view comes from our belief in Self-Ownership (The idea that you're the only one with a right to your body and property), and Non-Aggression (The idea that no individual should initiate force against another).

The Libertarian position, in not intending to force any way of life on anyone and in seeking to free the markets and create voluntary solutions rather than increase corporate corruption or Government oversight, stands in total contrast to today's mainstream political ideologies.

The Libertarian's goal in political action, then, is to shrink the size and scope of the Governnment whenever possible/viable, to foster community-based and voluntary solutions to the problems we face, and to radically affirm our universal rights and liberties.

From 2022 to 2023 I served as the Chair of the Santa Barbara County Libertarian Party, which I co-founded. Until 2023, I was the Vice Chair of the Youth Caucus of the California Libertarian Party, and though I am not running as Libertarian in this race, I founded and am the current chair of the Libertarian Party Wild Caucus, the 'green wing', so to speak, of the Libertarian Party.

If elected, I will bear the universal principles of Libertarianism in mind in all my service to you as State Senator.

For Democrats

Are you a Democrat who supports civil liberties and high levels of personal freedom? Are you a Classical or ol' fashioned Progressive Liberal who's concerned about the Democratic Party's support for expanding Government, and out-of-control spending? Do you dislike how some Democrats claim to care for the environment, but do little to fight polluters, and drag their feet when pushed to accept clean Nuclear and Hydroelectric power? Are you concerned about the alternative of voting for Republicans who may threaten your personal liberties and leave Immigration Reform and Law Enforcement accountability on the back-burner?

Libertarians (That is to say, those belonging to the Ideology) will fight tooth and nail to protect the rights of all adults to live their lives and express themselves however they see fit, so long as they don't directly affect others in the process. We will fight to shrink spending, while doing so carefully, to ensure the welfare of Americans. We will fight to keep a defensive military, but will seek to put an end to the initiation and expansion of foreign and domestic conflicts.

With your help, we can show other disaffected Democrats that there is a viable alternative to the party, that doesn't threaten personal liberty, peace, or the natural environment

For Republicans

Why should you, as a Republican, the majority of whom are more Ideologically Conservative rather than Libertarian, vote for me, as an Ideologically Libertarian candidate? Republicans have little success in coastal Californian elections. It's essentially a sure fact that in this area of the US, the Democrats will continue to gain popular support over Republicans for the forseeable future. Though the outlook of this election may at first appear bleak, this Democrat majority means it's the perfect time to support a candidate with Libertarian messaging who may appeal to both sides of the aisle and Give the Dems a run for their money.

If you want a Candidate who can support your desire for free markets, smaller government, and protection of your Constitutional Rights, while also appealing to moderates and pro-business Democrats, look no further than my campaign!

If you, the Republicans of District 21, support me, we can actually stand a chance against the Democratic Party's majority, and get the ideas of Liberty into the State Assembly.

For Greens

The Green party of the United States has slowly shifted away from it's radical platform of grassroots activism, community interdependence, distrust for the State and establishment, and deep respect for the natural world. Today, much of the party is little more than a Democratic Socialist group that merely uses environmental destruction and degradation as fuel for a moral panic which would drive the public to support a new regime.

As the founder and Chair of the Libertarian Party's 'Wild Caucus', I hope to represent the true essence of green concerns within the Libertarianism, and within this election.

The Wild Caucus seeks to protect natural living and empower communities to become more self reliant, while defending wild nature from pollution and industrial encroachment by maintaining preserves and sanctuaries of all types, Ideally through non-state, non-corporate Preservationist groups.

With your vote, we can help show the nation as a whole that Californians will make no compromise in defense of mother earth.

For the Disinterested

Many Americans are worn out by and dissatisfied with political trends in general. Others may not keep up on current events and feel like they should just not vote as they don't hold a serious opinion on any candidate. These sentiments are completely valid, and in my opinion, they're reasons why you should look for Ideologically Libertarian Candidates.

Libertarians want to shrink Government and get politicians out of your personal business. We don't want anyone's opinions or sentiments being forced on you, and we want you to be able to live your life with little micromanagement. We don't think you should have to worry about who's running for office, because we don't want elected officials holding much power over your life in the first place!

Non-voters make up a huge portion of citizens in CA, with well under 50% of eligible voters turning out for primary races typically. With just a fraction of this disinterested group, we can completely shatter the Democrat stranglehold in the state, elect new leaders from various parties, and help set a new precedent nationwide
